Last updated 24 March 2026. This policy explains how TOP4 handles Google sign-in, account data, gameplay data, and related browser storage for the public web app.

Information We Collect

  • Google sign-in profile data: your Google account identifier, email address, name, and profile image.
  • Account profile data you maintain inside TOP4, including your display name and anonymity preferences.
  • Gameplay data, including league memberships, invitations, picks, standings, and related activity.
  • Technical data needed to operate the service, such as request logs, browser metadata, and essential session storage.

How We Use Your Data

  • Authenticate you with Google and maintain your account session.
  • Run leagues, save picks, calculate tables, and show profile information to other league members.
  • Protect the service, investigate abuse, debug incidents, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Improve the product and support users when they contact us.

How Google Data Is Used

TOP4 uses the Google data returned during sign-in only to create and maintain your account, identify you inside leagues, and show your profile information inside the app. The app does not request Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or other additional Google API scopes.

Sharing

  • Your display name, standings, and league participation are visible to other members of the leagues you join.
  • Your data may be processed by infrastructure and hosting providers that operate the service on our behalf.
  • We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the service and its users.

Cookies, Local Storage, and Advertising

TOP4 uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in and to support features such as temporary messages and the optional install prompt. The current app does not serve third-party display advertising inside the web app. If Google web advertising is introduced later, this policy and the Cookie Notice will be updated before those cookies or consent flows are activated.

Retention and Your Choices

We keep account and gameplay records for as long as the service needs them to operate, enforce rules, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You can update your display name from your account page. If you want to request deletion of your account data, contact us using the details below.
